The Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN) is a service offered by the USGA to golf associations worldwide. GHIN is one of the largest handicap management tools in the world, serving more than 2 million golfers and 15,000 golf clubs.
Key changes for 2024:
9-hole scores are now combined with an expected Score Differential so they can count toward your Handicap Index the very next day.
A new approach for 10-17 holes played where hole-by-hole score posting is used to determine your 18-hole Score Differential.
Many shorter and par-3 courses are eligible for a Course Rating and Slope Rating, making the system more accommodating for all players.
If you would like to get more information on all 2024 changes – you can find them at the link below.
Please use Canyonettes League as your club. If you want to sign up through another club/league, or perhaps you already have a GHIN through another club/league, that’s OK too.
There is a yearly $39.00 fee for the GHIN.
Once you have your GHIN number be sure to get the mobile app so you can post your hole-by-hole score.
